Remus didn't believe that about himself. What he had inside of him wasn't beautiful; it was a monstrous beast. He didn't want to turn their beautiful moment into a depressing one, though. They needed this closeness, this happiness. Even if it was just for right now. There was still a broken bridge between them that had yet to be mended, but for now, they'd closed that gap and just had each other.
He smiled up at Sirius, in an almost wolfish way, to match the other boy's grin. He didn't say anything, but leaned up to lightly press a kiss to his jaw, and linked his fingers behind his neck, to let his fingertips lightly brush against the soft hairs at the base of his scalp.
