Adrian, over-all, was rather amused by the little lightening storm that had moved through the locker room earlier that afternoon. Perhaps he felt a little guilty about the three of them causing the other rep to call it quits, but it was what it was. The nature of the beast and all that. Still, when the pint sized brunette had stormed through, he'd simply been glad he'd at least managed to have his trousers on. Some had not been so lucky. Given the nature of the tongue lashing, she supposed he probably shouldn't have grinned but how often was it that something like that happened. Besides, Flint was by far the worst of the three.
Lexi's arrival had those thoughts drifting back to his memories, a light laugh escaping him as she stole Clint's drink. "Don't know how we made it without you," he commented, amusement clear in his tone. "I'm pretty sure Clint cried on the ninth day of your absence. It was heart-wrenching and pathetic."
The three of them were a tight knot. He and Clint may share blood, but Lexi was just as much a part of their little group. He couldn't even remember quite how it happened. One day she was just there and it'd been that way ever since.
