"Uh huh," was all he said on the matter of whether or not her sex life was boring. Davies, Wood, and the few other names that had kicked around over the years. Yeah. Definitely boring. He also didn't believe she hadn't shagged at least one of the Weasley twins. Too fucking close those three had been. He did, however, snort when she asked him to have Lexi take that giant dog of hers. The thing hadn't left him alone the entire time he had been in her place. Come to think of it, neither had Lexi's fruit bat.
Shaking his head, he glanced toward the woman that was clearly glaring daggers at their table. "Don't recognize her," of course that didn't mean he hadn't spent an hour or two getting to know her at some point in the past. Regardless, he shrugged it off and went back to his whiskey. "It's likely you." Weren't girls always fighting with each other over one thing or another? Maybe Katie had worn the wrong colour today. Seemed like something women would fight over.
When their server came back, the woman was still glaring at them and even Marcus was getting irritated. When she asked what they'd be having, Marcus had ordered his usual of Roasted Lamb with Mint. Giving Katie a chance to order, he nodded toward the woman who was still currently glaring. "I was unaware your caliber of patron had dropped recently. It looks as though my friends and I will be finding a new establishment at which to spend our galleons."
Assuring him that she would deal with the problem, she hurried off to speak with the maitre d'. A moment later, the maitre d' was politely asking the woman to finish her meal and leave the establishment. Sometimes it was nice to have a little pull. Of course, he realized it came mostly from his family'd money, but he wasn't that picky.
