"You don't have to wait a year for my arse, Bell," he shot back, unable to keep the comment from slipping past his lips. It would seem that despite being Adrian's bastard half sister, Katie was enough of a distraction to keep him interested. He wondered briefly if it was simply the game that kept his attention, but brushed it aside. Didn't really matter, in the end. "It's cute, however, that you think you'll ever get the stats. You're a Gryffindor. You can't play like me, even when you try." Don't get him wrong, she could be dirty when you pissed her off enough, but she just didn't think the same way he did. They were wired very differently. He'd been raised to see the weaknesses in others. She'd learned strictly for the game and it was different.
"That late at night? Most people," he scoffed, unrepentent for it. "Could have been a bloody emergency. The real question is who falls asleep in a two minute time span after they initiated sex." He had payed the last few times, but this was getting to be a rather familiar habit and that made Marcus uncomfortable. He wasn't fucking dating Katie Bell. "Of course you wouldn't. I'd never allow it. Besides, you like boring gingers."
He made a face at the mention of Muggles. He didn't give a shit about what the Media printed and he wasn't going to suffer through a night of poor quality food and boring conversations in order to avoid it. He didn't even think it worth his time to answer such a ridiculous question, but he did so anyway. "Magical."
He never could get over her appetite. It was like watching Clint eat and that was just wrong coming from a woman. Debating the options considering her desire for steak, he decided on one place in particular. Of course, it happened to be on the far side of Knockturn Alley. Oh well, being seen in there would likely decrease her fan base and he was alright with that. Taking her arm, he apparated them to the back entrance into Knockturn before letting her go. Stepping forward, he let them through the gate and led the way to the restaurant in Question. It didn't look like much on the outside, but it wasn't the sort of place you went if you didn't have deep pockets. It was a well known place among the older families.
