Katie laughed and pulled her foot away, giving him a smile. "What I want and what I should do are two completely different things," she said, shaking her head. "Besides, if I have to choose between you and a steak? I'll probably choose the steak. Every single time." Sadly, it was true. Katie's love affair with food was pretty well known throughout the community. She was usually eating something when she was intereviewed. She liked food. But she also maintained her crazy caloric intake with exercise and Quidditch... she'd have too. Apparently, it was another way she and Adrian were alike.
It was very unlikely that Katie would move to sit next to him. But she had to admit, she was tempted. His lips looked particularly enticing and resisting him was annoyingly hard. Still, she wasn't looking to be a notch anymore. She'd had her moment of insanity and she really didn't want to go down that path again. That and her experience with Oliver had really taught her not to mix business with pleasure. She'd have to face him the next morning.
She ought to change the subject to the team but she wasn't interested in that right now. "Can I ask you something?" she questioned, not waiting for an answer. "Why me? Is it because of Wood?" She was curious as to his reasoning. She knew they were annoyingly competitive with one another. "Is that the appeal? I mean, I can sort of understand that but that's enough for you?" She finished off her drink and raised a brow. "I mean, I'm definitely attracted to you and Oliver doesn't even factor into it but you? It surprises me."
