Re: Clint/Lexi/Marcus/Katie
Lexi hadn't really intended to end up with Marcus Flint in her bed. She most certainly had not intended it. She'd planned on getting them sobered up a bit, fed, and tucked into their own beds. Of course, then Clint had fallen asleep on the couch with the dogs and Marcus had decided that rather than going home he was just going to crash there ... which naturally meant Lexi's bed as he wasn't about to crawl into bed with Bell.
She supposed it hadn't been all that bad. He wasn't as warm as Clint, but the familiar company had helped quiet her mind enough that her sleep was restful. Merlin knew, she hadn't had a good nights sleep in a long time. Stress with both Dean and Clint had saw to that. It was the downfall of relationships, she supposed, no matter the depth of said relationship.
When she had finally fallen asleep, it had been deep and restful, but not necessarily long. With the door opened for Boo, it had taken only a few short moments to make her way up the little doggy steps at the end of the bed and up to lick Lexi's face, bringing her out of her sleep. With a groan, she tried to escape Boo's persistent love. "Okay, okay," she mumbled sleepily, drawing herself away from the warmth of Marcus' side. "I'm up."
Yawning, she stood and stumbled toward the door. She paused for a moment at the door to see if Boo was coming, only to find her curled up with Marcus. "Oh for Merlin's sake," she grouched, irritated that she'd just been pushed aside by a five pound dog. Able to smell the coffee from downstairs, she didn't return to bed instead moving to sleepily stumble her way down the stairs in her shorts and over sized jumper, the material slipping off one shoulder in that lazy sort of comfort. Her hair was adorably ruffled, but she couldn't be bothered to care. She was sleepy and no longer in bed.
Finding both Clint and Katie in the kitchen, she moved to pour herself some coffee and adding a ridiculous amount of cream and sugar to it. They were arguing about something, but Lexi wasn't sure what it was. All of her senses were still muddled. "How is it morning already?" she pouted, blinking some of the sleep from her eyes.
