Describing the moment as heavy was as accurate as Nick thought anything could be. He would be feeling the imprint of Lavender's hand for days, even though she'd only touched him lightly. It took shaking his head to break the spell. Nick smiled genuinely and drew his wand. A hasty flick of it set the leftover food to repacking itself and so forth. He would be sure to leave the food in Lavender's fridge, so that she could enjoy it later. It was rare for him to eat so much. Taking a cue from her, he brushed off his pants and stood slowly, extending his hands to help her up as well. It was the kind thing to do.
"I think a walk would probably be good, though we should find a place where it isn't raining. It was quite cold when I came in."
