Hurrying to his bed, Susan sat on the edge, her hand on his forehead. "Shhh, Fin, shhh. No one is going to die." Her fingers moved through his damp hair, stroking slowly and softly as she tried to soothe him. Summoning a wet cloth, Susan lightly washed the dried blood off of his neck. Seeing him like this killed her. Susan was a Healer and she knew how to treat people, but one thing she'd never been good at was taking care of the people she cared about. It brought back too many memories.
