"Yeah. I'm done yelling." Oliver took a step back and ran a hand over his face. Part of him wanted to grab Katie and toss her on her bed. That would be the easy way to deal with this. It really would. But, fuck, was it going to fix anything?
He paced the hallway for a few moments. Sleeping with Katie shouldn't have happened in the first place. They should've talked about things and dated and done things the right way, but they didn't. They just stumbled into things and they fell apart instantly. Oliver knew that was his fault, but he also knew that Katie's reaction wasn't good either. She should come to him instead of flying off the handle.
"You went after him just to hurt me. It was malicious. I know I fucked up, Kates, but I didn't set out to hurt you. I'm not perfect. I'm not a good bloke to date. You know that. You've seen the women I've dated before."
