Katie stared at him, open mouthed and in shock. "Yes! You're the bad guy!" she retorted, eyes wide. "You left me in your house. Alone. After we slept together. Then, you didn't talk to me! Other than to tell me that I was having a hissy fit and completely invalidating my feelings! You crushed me!" Her lip trembled but she refused to cry but her voice was lower, a slight hoarseness filled with emotion. "Then... I read about you and that girl on a date and I got mad. You treated me like I was nothing." She tugged her towel up, feeling entirely too exposed.
A fresh wave of anger washed over her and she turned on her heel, stomping out of her bathroom. No. This was ridiculous. She turned around, not realizing he'd followed her out, turning smack into him. Her hands instantly flew to his chest, slightly gripping the material beneath it. "What was I supposed to think? When was I supposed to ask you," she asked, glaring at him.
"And lets be honest," she said, sarcastically. "You're not here for me. You're here about Marcus. You're here to prove that I want you more than him and whatever else egotistical thing you can think up." She'd inadvertently made herself some sort of competition between them. Neither cared about her. They just wanted to annoy each other and she'd Ben idiotic enough to play right into it.
