Pansy was perfectly on time as she pushed open the door to the Leaky and stepped inside the familiar surroundings. Instinct had her drawing herself up further, carrying herself with the posture her mother and grandmother had instilled in her. As if she could wrap herself up in her breeding to protect from the stares and gossip she imagined was sent her way.
Still, spotting the handsome face of her friend was enough to pull a rare smile from the brunette. "Blaise, darling." Her greeting brief but warm as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. He was a close friend, something to be treasured. Over the years, Pansy had learned to her cost what friendship really meant.
