He smiled at her words but didn't take them to heart. "Just had it trimmed," he said, with a grin, nodding towards a friend on the other side of the dance floor. He didn't much care for short hair but it was easier in the jungle. Less places for things to crawl into always seemed to help a bit. Pulling her a hair closer, he let the music wash over him and enjoy the relatively quiet moment that didn't have him listening to people talk about his book or his next project. He also didn't have someone groping him and that was a plus.
"Just the winter," he said, idly. "It's a bit much with the constant piss rain." It wasn't anything unknown that he avoiding the extremely rainy winters London produced. Maybe if he spent more time up north but London was convenient and while he was a pureblood, he didn't entirely embrace that lifestyle. "You can always come visit me in the jungle, Mari," he said, softly.
