If Seamus hadn't pulled away so quickly Susan would have yanked her arm back. Luckily she didn't have to do that, but she did give him a rather dirty look filled with resentment and rage and unspoken anger. People told her that time healed and her hurt would lessen as the months went by, but they were all wrong. She was still angry with Seamus even two years after he left. No amount of time could heal that wound. Nothing could heal it. She was broken and it was his fault.
"Do not tell me what to do," she said with clenched teeth. "I am not your lass."
Putting her wand away, lest she make the mistake of hexing him in an enclosed space, Susan leaned against the wall again. She watched, almost with amusement, as Seamus commented on her love life. He thought she was off dating people and involved, but he couldn't be more wrong. Susan had slept with Charlie once and then once Leo appeared on the scene, well. Susan couldn't blame Charlie for putting his family first, but a note would have been nice maybe. And as for Harry... Merlin, if Seamus actually thought she was dating Harry.
"Say it," she challenged him. "Say what it is you want to say, Seamus. Because I'm tired of this," she said and gestured between them. "I'm tired of us not talking to each other and keeping things locked up. If you hate me so much and are angry that I've moved on then just say it."
