With her temper already on the brink of erupting, Susan only needed a little push from Seamus to send her careening over the edge. She fixed her green eyes on him, anger blazing in them. The last two years had been spent with the knowledge that the man she had loved could walk away from her because of who she was. It wasn't because she had done any particular thing or wronged him in any one way. No, they ended things because Seamus couldn't stand her as a person. And she'd never gotten the chance to really tell him what she thought of that.
"You," she said through clenched teeth, "do not get to call me Susie any longer. That name is for my friends and you are not my friend, Finnigan. You are a distant memory that I'd just as soon forget." There was heat behind her words, but her insults lacked weight. She was being mean for the sake of being mean. Pulling herself up, Susan removed her wand from the waistband of her skirt and pointed it towards the roof of the lift. "I would rather fall to the bottom than spend another moment alone with you."
