Who: Eloise Midgen & Augustus Pye. When: Tuesday Night; After AJ gets off of work. Where: Eloise's flat. What: Augie comes to "watch some telly." Status: In progress. Rating: PG-13 for now but to be determined.
Augustus finished his work and floo'd straight to his apartment. If he was going to see Eloise, he was at least going to shower and get out of the suit he had been wearing all day. He was finished in no time and after carefully discarding his dirty clothes into his hamper, he put on a crisply folded grey t-shirt and a clean pair of jogging pants. He didn't get to be casual very often, always wearing robes and suits at work and he was happy to be around Eloise in a more casual setting. Everything around him was formal all the time, though he was more of a formal-type of person himself.
Pulling a sweatshirt onto his torso, he rushed to his kitchen and grabbed a bottle of wine from its specified cabinet. He apparated to her front door, leaving his apartment just as spotless as when he came. Clearing his throat, he knocked on Eloise's door quietly and waited for her to open it. Augie always had to remind himself to expect the bright colors once she opened the door -- her place was, bright to say the least.
He was more nervous than he thought, perhaps because they hadn't spent much time together since they kissed. It was strange being in this limbo with her -- he always knew that he had feelings for Eloise, somewhere inside of him, at least. But he was never able to admit them, and even now there was this constant worry of scaring her away and ruining one of the only friendships he considered important to him. Regardless of that worry, Augustus also knew that ignoring her or hurting her feelings would be much worse than pushing past his own insecurities.
The door opened and he looked down at Eloise, a kind smile coming to his face for the first time that night. "Hey Lou." Holding up the bottle too his cheek, his grin deepened. "Brought you some wine."
