"I'm sure she will," Adrian agreed. He had no fear about his Mother and Emma getting along. They were very similar in personality. His Mother, perhaps, a little more temperamental, but not enough so to be much of a problem. Above all else, they shared a similar style when it came to shopping and he knew well enough by this point just how important that would be. Ultimately, he had no intention of putting it off much longer. Emma would need some assistance with baby things and the like. Adrian would help, of course, where he could, but there was something about a woman's touch that was needed for this particular circumstance.
He shook his head when Clint mentioned his Mother's concerns. "Of course she was," he responded, amused, "Merlin forbid they have the wrong bone structure or complexion." It was a silly concept. One couldn't really take a guess at what the twins would look like. There was a thousand different combination and he wasn't overly concerned with which combination proved to be the right one. But then again, perhaps it was a female thing.
Marcus glanced around as they talked, not at all interested in talking about Mother's or Babies. Seemed like stupid things to talk about, given their environment. At Clint's comment, he glanced his way. "Well, these Gryffindor morons aren't here for decoration. I figure the sooner she talks to them, the sooner they can get the hell out." If only it were that easy. Half of them would be gone already, if it was. "It's really a shame we had to forgo the dancers," he muttered, somewhat wistfully. He could have done with a little entertainment.
Adrian knew exactly how Clint felt considering the whole Marcus/Katie interactions. It bothered him on occasion too. He had worked his arse off to be what he was suppose to be and Marcus all but stumbles into an equally balanced almost drama free relationship. What was worse, they didn't even bother considering it a relationship. He doubted that would last forever, but it was still quite irritating in the face of his own complications.
