Katie laughed and nodded. He was right, of course. She had a fairly large circle but her close friends could be counted on... two hands. There was Oliver, George, Leanne, Lee, Lexi, Ange and Ali. Which, really, wasn't a lot but she had a lot of friendly acquaintances and teammates. She'd have been happy if it'd just been them but the thought he'd put into it was wonderful, really. Katie shifted leaning against Marcus, her back to his chest as she perused the room. She needed to go talk to Oliver but she was too happy wear she was. She'd make the rounds sooner then later.
She had to admit that she was glad he'd included her in the party. It was nice. she hadn't expected it, really. Katie had more than expected them to do something for Lexi so it was nice to be a part of that. It was a good week. Despite the shite with Hannah and the Prophet... she was glad to be back on her broom and back at practice. She'd made it through the full eight hours today so that was huge. And now she got to spend the evening with everyone she loved? Even better.
"I won't tell," she said, laughing waving to George. Tilting her head, she caught his lips with her own, not caring who saw or who had some idiotic comment to say. Her kiss was slow and lingering before she pulled away. "I won't let anyone know how adorable you are. Don't want to ruin that reputation of yours."
