Katie was a friendly person and fairly popular among the different houses and different teams. She had a lot of friends and a lot of contacts in the league. Gwenog Jones was here and a few other formerly prominent players. It was pretty nice, actually, to see them all in one room. Katie had never really straddled the line like this before so it was surprising for her to see both Slytherin and Gryffindor in the same space. Interesting, to say the least. She pursed her lips, brow raised as she watched a Harpy and a Magpie start gesticulating wildly.
"You may have a point," she said, with a grin. She shrugged. "What can I say? I'm fairly popular." It was easy to get along with everyone when you were fairly laid back and your temper tantrums were only over Quidditch. Katie didn't really waste time hating people. Sure, Marcus had always bugged the shite out of her and it sort of made sense now why that was but she'd never really hated him. She settled against him, happy enough with his arm around her as she enjoyed the jovial atmosphere. She caught sight of Oliver, looking less then grim and knew she'd need to go talk to him.
"A drink would be perfect," she said, as they moved to the bar and her favorite drink, a rum and cola, was poured. "You might be the best non-boyfriend I've had," she teased, brushing a kiss to his cheek. "What on earth prompted you to do this?"
