She laughed lightly at his description, amused. She did have to admit, however, it was a lot of pink and while she could understand the proximity to Valentines day, well ... it was a lot of friggin' pink. "So long as I don't have to untangle little arrows from my hair, I think I can give them a pass," she admitted, recalling their time at Hogwarts. Merlin, did she hate the over-exuberance for Castle decorations. Little love notes smacking people in the face and tiny little cupids shooting things at you. It had never been a good idea. She'd spent hours picking those damn arrows out of her curls. Even Clint had been dragged into it. Unfortunately for him, Adrian had just apologized every time he thought he might be pulling her hair and Marcus just ripped them out, curls and all. He was the only one left for her to bribe into it.
She was somewhat disappointed she hadn't seen Emma yet. She wanted to show her the ring Clint had given her, which was currently sparkling on her finger. She hadn't shown Katie yet, either, but she figured between the two of them Emma would be more excited about it. Katie and Marcus, however, were not difficult to miss. It was funny how much everyone had whined and complained over Katie breaking poor Wood's heart and now they were clamoring to get the inside story on the steamy Bell and Flint relationship. She'd never been more glad to be a random.
When he asked about the dress, she turned her attention away from the other two. "It is," she smiled, enjoying the familiar brush of his lips to her skin. She could think of a wide variety of things she'd rather be doing that include that very sensation, but she was suppose to be on her best behaviour. "I good that she did, since it cost two months worth of wages. It's a very good thing I've decided to marry rich. Emma has expensive tastes," she teased.
