"You're not making me want to do this," Lexi responded dryly, eying all the binders with some trepidation. "Is that the pay off of a bloody wedding? I don't feel it's worth it if I end up too tired to have sex." A complete waste, that's what it was. She also didn't quite believe Emma when she said it wouldn't be so bad. This was Lexi and she rarely got through anything without something stomping it's way through her happy ending. Still, she supposed it was less likely if she had Emma's help with organizing all of this, but she doubted that it would be enough to prevent it entirely.
She was relieved when they both seemed to approve of the choice. It wasn't over the top but still had that elegance. The enchanted ceiling would certainly help. She honestly didn't want a big wedding. She would have been happy with just her and Clint and their friends on a beach somewhere. So if she had to go through this whole big thing, she was going to at least make it feel less like she was trapped under all the pretentious fluff of a society wedding.
When Emma pulled out a the swatch of purple and the photo of the dress, Lexi raised an eyebrow. Guess Emma really had been busy. "They're nice, but you guys are the ones who have to wear them," she shrugged. "Though, I prefer the shorter dresses." She never really liked the idea of the full dress. What was the point of having to lug around a wedding dress if everyone else was wearing a gown too? "Tea length is fine. You guys can pick your own dresses."
