Lexi gave a little nervous laugh at that. "I don't have the time to go paintballing," she responded. That was the sad truth of it. She didn't have time for anything, not with work and this rush of a wedding she was now planning. Emma kept saying it wouldn't be so bad, but her mind kept going over everything and she was pretty sure it was that bad. Though, her hand was a bit of a comfort. It was enough, at least, to ground her and she took a slow breath.
It also helped that she didn't allow them to stray too far down the panic road before they were refocused ... even if she was a little dazed. Taking the binders from Emma, she glanced down at them for a moment, somewhat afraid to even look inside of them. "Tents with enchanted ceilings would be nice," she mumbled, finally cracking open a one of the books. She did like the idea of being outside ... but the time of year didn't really suit that. A lot of charm work would be needed if they went in that direction.
Lexi partially agreed with Katie. She didn't want to be at Bletchley's with the guys. This was stressful enough without their commentary, but she wouldn't mind something stronger than champagne ... or even something she actually liked. She'd taken a sip to be polite, but left the flute on the table beside her stack of magazines she'd returned to Emma.
"What about this?" she asked, pointing to one image of one venue that caught her eye. "Doesn't make me want to puke at the formality of it."
