Nervous didn't really come close to describing how Susan felt as she approached Charlie's flat. She liked him, but had no idea if they were or what they were and when they had... it was confusing. Now that he had a child Susan knew that something casual wasn't an option. She assumed Charlie felt the same way.Obviously they were just friends.
As he opened the door, Susan found herself smiling brightly. Even if she couldn't define what they had, she enjoyed being around Charlie. "Hi," she said with a smile and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Ready for a fun filled night of packing?"
