He brushed off the topic of Bell, not really all that interested in discussing it. It was a fucked up mess, if he was completely honest and the missed opportunity irritated him something fierce. Focusing on Clint was a much better option, though he had to admit that he wasn't entirely convinced that nothing was wrong. They were currently sitting in his living room and neither one of them had managed to get laid. Yeah, something was wrong.
Marcus snorted at that. "You're afraid of the cowboy?" he asked, generally amused. Marcus wasn't entirely sure how the guy had managed to become an Auror. He wasn't all that intimidating. Sure he was fit, but there was just a mild-mannered nature to him that Marcus just couldn't take him seriously. He was still surprised Lexi hadn't become bored ... then again, perhaps she had.
"I find it hard to believe that having a naked woman beside you is weird in any circumstance, but to each his own," he snorted, taking a drink. "Tonight has been a spectacular bust. Anti-climatic."
