Marcus chuckled at her squeak of surprise, unable to help himself. He enjoyed when he caught Bell off guard, whether it be on the pitch or in the bedroom. Still gave him that spark of pleasure, regardless. Passion wasn't entirely something that worried him. It was that particular heated sensation that had him living his life the way he did. He liked feeling that boiling between him and whoever had caught his attention.
That, of course, did not mean that any amount of passion that sprung up forged a connection beyond what he wanted. It took more than passion for that to happen and he was careful not to land himself in something he was not prepared for. As her hands found his skin, any of those worries were far from the front of his mind.
Her insistence that he had too many clothes on, earned her a smirk, enjoying the feel of her hands on the band of his jeans. "Was naked once already," he taunted, his voice low as his teeth nipped at the side of her neck. Pulling away, he rose to his knees, her fingers still on his jeans. "Better late then never, Bell."
He was all for moving this along, but his awareness shifted to a faint noise in the background. Frowning, he glanced away from Bell in order to focus on the sound. When he realized it was a fire call, his slight confusion melted away to complete irritation. "Are you fucking kidding me?" It was well after midnight and he couldn't think of anyone stupid enough to call him in the middle of the damn night.
Glancing back to Bell, he was tempted to ignore it, but now that he'd focused on the sound it was louder than ever. "Hold that thought," he grumbled, pushing himself off the bed. He didn't care that he was half naked, his shirt gone, the button of his jeans open which left them hanging low on his hips. He wasn't shy.
Moving into the kitchen, he spotted the cause of the disturbance and groaned. "Are you fucking kidding me?" he grouched, glaring at the face of Clint in the fire. "You've got to be the only moron on the face of the planet who leaves with a naked woman in his arms and spends his evening harassing his friends via fire call? What the fuck did you do kill her? I don't bury bodies."
