Clint watched Lexi get ready, knowing he should really avert his eyes but let's be honest? She had an amazing body. Instead, he raised a brow as she pulled one of his shirts over her head and stumbled back to the bed. He really didn't plan on staying. It was probably best to head home and go to bed. He did have practice in the morning. He had to admit, though, this evening had turned out surprisingly enjoyable and he wasn't a little sad to see it end.
At her request and those sleepy eyes, his brows shot up and he struggled for a moment. A silent, internal battle waged inside of him. He wasn't so sure she'd be happy he was there in the morning and he wasn't so sure this was a line they should cross. Sure, they'd slept together before but this was… different. It felt different. Plus, she had a boyfriend and he didn't really want to get in the middle of that.
Course, he couldn't quite bring himself to say no. Especially when she looked so bloody adorable curled under a giant pile of blankets, a nose and two eyes blinking up at him. Letting out a sigh, Clint moved to the other side of the bed and slid in, pulling her next to him, idly stroking her shoulder as she settled against again him.
In the other room, Katie's mind was a rambling mess of confusion and desire and everything in between. Kissing Marcus Flint shouldn't be as enjoyable as it was and while she couldn't quite focus on it, she knew she appreciated it more than he did but she wasn't quite ready for the night to be over. Making bad decisions is what Katie did.
"No," she said, standing up. "We're going to your place." Katie wasn't sure where she was going with that but he listened. She had a feeling he didn't bring girls home often. She'd always been told it was easier to go to the girls place.
Standing in his living room was a little surreal but she was drunk enough to not dwell on it. She glanced up at him, eyes blinking wide. He was too good looking. Too sexual. It was almost overwhelming. Here, in his place, she suddenly felt out of control and she had no idea what she was going to do next.
