Lexi laughed, enjoying herself more than she'd expected to that night. Katie was pretty entertaining in her reactions and Marcus, well, it was always fun to watch Marcus, made all the better by the weight of Clint's arm protectively over her shoulders. It had been almost a month since she'd been able to hang out with them like this. She wished Ade was here, but if he wasn't with Clint and Marcus then he was probably looking to his family obligations. If there was one thing she could count on when it came to Ade was living up to the expectations they all put on him, whether they were fair or not.
She did, however, have to admit that Romeo and Juliet was an embellished tale that didn't really teach anything useful. Katie's disgust, however, was hilarious and she turned her head to hide her smile against Clint's chest. They made a hilarious duo and she was sure she wasn't the only one who saw it.
Marcus could definitely agree that he wouldn't mind getting into bed with Bell, but Christ, all this talk of star-crossed lovers and cheesy country songs were starting to make his stomach turn. What in the hell? "For once, I agree with you," he commented, following Bell's lead and taking his own shot.
Once Lexi had controlled her giggles, she glanced back at Katie and Marcus. "I'm drunk. You're not drunk enough," she corrected. They were still too cranky. A laugh escaped her again as she took her shot. She probably should stop, as she was bound to feel it in the morning as it was, but who cares. She was having fun. "Drink till your clothes come off."
