Marcus was amused by Katie's taunts. "Apparently, I have no reason to be shy," he winked. There was no way getting around the fact that Lexi had announced that Bell had been curious. That made him particularly pleased. He could just imagine all the trouble that could cause for Puddlemere. Of course, his pleasure was quickly sidetracked by the other blonde currently tucked quite happily under Clint's arm.
Christ. Things just kept getting stranger and stranger. He made a mental note right then to never allow Lexi any alcohol. She'd clearly lost her mind somewhere in the mix of beer and panty dropping cocktails. He had no doubt about what was being sent their way prior to his and Clint's arrival. There was just something about a woman in leather that hit the right spot. Two blondes, with nice legs wearing leather. Half those empty glasses had been filled with inhibition dropping concoctions. He'd bet his fortune on it.
"That's a shitty reference," he grunted, shaking his head, "we all know how that story ended, so thanks for that vote of confidence." He was content to never again hear the combination of Katie, himself, and anything remotely romantic. Ever. If he thought he'd get away with just a simple reference, he was fooling himself.
Lexi laughed and shrugged. "I'm a fantastic curse breaker," she corrected, amused. "Oh! I've another one. Do you like it on a riverbank. Do you like it when the sun done sank. Do you like it when the full moon's high. And it's shinin' down into your drink. Do you like it when the tailgate's down. Do you like it when we take it to the ground. Tell me baby, how does that sound. Either way, you know it's goin' down. Tell me how you like it. Baby, you know I want to try it."
She was ridiculously amused. She honestly just thought the should shag and get it over with. Personally, she didn't want to have to keep explaining what sex with Marcus Flint was like. She'd been curious, found the answer, and moved on. Katie would feel better and Marcus would be happy with himself. It really was a win-win situation.
Marcus looked at her incredulously. "Where the hell are you pulling this shite from?" He was pretty sure by this point that she'd lost it. One too many curses blowing up in her face or some shit.
