She glared at him as he stalked towards her, pinning her against the counter, blocking her in and stealing her beer. His words had her turning red and she crossed her arms, brushing his chest. "It's what the advertisement said," she muttered, avoiding his gaze, feeling absolutely mortified. As for the sexy thing, her cheeks managed to turn a deeper shade of red. Katie was well aware that she wasn't sexy. There wasn't a sexy bone in her body and she hated feeling insecure. "It just came out," she said, irritated and embarrassed. Brushing her hair off her face, wanting nothing more than to shower the mess of product out of her hair and get rid of the eyeliner irritating her eyes.
Sometimes, it really surprised how easy it was to be with him. They clicked on a level that she never quite expected or understood. She was comfortable with him. She supposed it helped that she was in love with him. Which, also weird. Her eyes narrowed as he continued to drink her beer. "I completely take back what I said earlier," she said, taking her beer back. Oh Merlin. "Oh god," she said, dropping her head to his chest. "I said alter of femininity."
She shook her head, still embarrassed. Her fingers settled on the band of his pants and she sighed, pulling back. "I'm never doing anything like this again," she said, glaring. "So you better just get used to sports bras because you're stuck with that."
