Clint was having fun and enjoying his time with his family and the kid. He glanced at Emma, noting the similarities in Oscar and her. Not a lot but the eyes were the same. Cute kid. He studied Emma, blatantly letting his eyes roam over her short little dress and the wings that were fluttering behind her. He glanced at Adrian and his brow quirked upward. "Weren't we talking about fairies last night?" he murmured, so only his cousin could hear. He grinned, suppressing a snort. "Looks like you found yours."
Meanwhile, Emma was attempting to figure out how to extract herself from this group without causing Oscar to be sorely disappointed. She supposed a few more minutes wouldn't be that horrible but she really wasn't up for spending the evening with Adrian and Clint. They were exhausting on a good day and she was fairly certain this was as good as they got.
Watching Adrian give her nephew his bar of chocolate had her eyes widening. She'd read his interviews and knew he loved chocolate. Oscar broke free, having made friends with Lyssy and Tori as they ran to the next door, the adults following slowly behind them.
"I suppose I'll have to find some way to make this up to you," Emma said, to Ade, watching Oscar try to carry his new bar of chocolate in one hand. It was really too big. He was never going to sleep tonight.
Clint laughed and put his arm back around Lexi. "Nothing too spectacular," he said, pulling her closer as she shivered. "Just a party. The usual."
