"You know it," Gus laughed, pretty entertained that the being from Planet Crocker also used the laziest jelly on the market. Made sense, though, except that even if he spent all day fixing cars, he'd still want to drive them all day.
It was good to see her in a good mood. She'd been pretty messed up by whatever was going on with her (the details of which he had resigned himself to never hearing - after being shut down by Justice, it didn't sting so much), so seeing Lucy smile made him feel like he was doing his good deed for the day.
"Yes ma'am," he said, doing as he was told and grabbing himself a second beer. He'd eaten before the gym, and so beer and cake would be his delayed dessert. Seemed like a pretty decent combo to Gus, who promptly and diligently followed Lucy's instruction in the delicious art of Cake-Fu.
