Lucy wasted no time in getting inside the nice warm building. It wasn't even an act to show him that she could be reasonable. It was cold out there. She was grateful he hadn't kept her waiting at the door.
Quickly all thoughts of the weather were left behind as she noticed the supply of food geared toward baking that he had available. "I liked your place before, but I gotta say, I love the improvements." She shrugged out of her coat and handed it to him since he'd offered.
"Nah. I'm good for now." She wasn't sure what she wanted but beer on an empty stomach right after a workout wasn't going to go over well. "Maybe in a bit."
She was still staring and admiring the foods he'd collected on the counter when the mention of Die Hard got her lifting her head, grinning broadly. "It's totally a baking movie." She resisted the temptation to just start quoting lines at him. "A little late in the season but still appropriate. Used to be my favorite Christmas movie." It still was, actually. She just didn't celebrate Christmas the same way.
