Ella hurried out of her chair, pushing herself to her feet so that she could both shake Isabel's hand and get out of her office before she changed her mind. The demon's hand was small and fit in Ella's nicely. "Thank you, Ms. Fane. I'm eager to start." She was eager to have some way to spend her time. And since she now had an apartment to pay for, income would be excellent, too.
She met the receptionist outside the office and her eyes widened as a phone and laptop were handed to her. Her information was given so her checks could be directly deposited into the bank account she'd only set up that morning. Her eyes widened again at the salary and the potential for earning if she worked overtime.
