"Oh, please do." She replied, finding it nice that the woman had even asked if she could call her Ella before just moving along with it. But the words had barely left her mouth when Isabel moved right along.
She practically beamed at the praise of her resume and recommendations, but she was disappointed to hear that she hadn't prepared enough on paper for Isabel's needs. She listened quietly to the questions, nodding. When Isabel finished, Ella began.
"I'm very used to long hours, and I understand the responsibilities of an assistant. As I said, I just moved here, so I don't have obligations to anything or anyone. I can be available whenever you need."
It didn't sound like Isabel was ready to hand her the job just yet, but Ella was definitely willing to give it a shot. "I've been called a workaholic on more than one occasion, I think you'll find my work ethic to your liking, Ms. Fane."
