Lou tilted her head and listened to him, thinking over his words. She wasn't overly fond of out of towners, but she'd assumed as much. She would have noticed him around before. It made her just a little extra-cautious, but he seemed like a pretty cool guy so far.
After shaking his hand, she replied, "I dunno." Her smile made her dimples more pronounce. "You make a valid argument for the superior benefits of glasses." Problem with that was she rarely let herself get the girly drinks she liked. She had image hangups. Without realizing she did it, Lou tugged at the hair of her ponytail and thought. When she was out by herself, she generally made a token effort to stick to drinks that came in bottles. It was safer. But she'd already given up going to The Experience. She didn't want to give up anything else if she didn't have to.
"So, Sterling," she hesitated on the name. She wasn't sure if she should be using his first name or his last. "If a beer drinking gal were to take a walk on the glasses-side, what kinda drink would you recommend?" She knew she hadn't given her name in return. Lou would get to that in a minute, maybe. Depended on how good he was at silly banter like this.
