"Thanks." There was a hint of a question in her tone but a smile on her lips. Lucy hadn't expected the comment and had been caught off guard, but it was a pleasant surprise. From the soft feel of the fabric to the image it displayed, she loved this shirt. Maybe it wasn't the kind of thing a lot of people around town would wear, but the look was totally her.
Lou's eyes lingered on him as he made his way to the bar. The compliment having caught her interest and jarred her back into reality. She'd forgotten there were other people. From her seat, Lucy tilted her head to see what he was drinking. It wasn't polite to stare, but she didn't feel even a little bad for it.
She wasn't going to go stalking up to some guy, no matter how good looking, at a bar just because he'd given her a random compliment and kept on walking. But she had to admit, she was curious. She wondered who he was, what his story might be. He seemed on the tanned side for winter, but it didn't hint of that overly orange that came from a can.
