Grace could tell when people were lying. It was a trait she'd inherited from her mother. She wasn't sure what the truth was, but Isabel was definitely not telling her everything she knew about those bodies. She flattened her lips into a line and then nodded, "Of course."
She shook her head and unclasped her hands. "I don't have any more questions. Thank you for your time, Ms. Fane. I'll let you know if I find anything out." She turned to head for the door and then paused.
She turned back, "I just want you to know that I'm on your side here. I think someone is threatening you, and I'd like to get to the bottom of it." Regardless of whether Isabel was a demon or not, Grace wanted to get to the bottom of it. If only to stop whoever was blatantly killing the demons and daemonem in Babylon.
She nodded and turned back to the door, "Have a good day, Ms. Fane."
