Justice pulled a face, but it melted away when she put the cigarette to her lips once again for a long, deep pull. Afterwhich, she pinched the filter in two fingers, and dangled it from the edge of the steering wheel.
"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure the casino is Home Base, if that makes sense to you. Also-" Justice looked across the cab darkness at Lucy. "You should know I'm not the only one tryin' to do somethin' about it."
She looked back at the street. "There're others. They're not as... aggressive as I am, though, which is why I'm the way I am a lot of the time." She took another drag, and exhaled tiredly. "I know a lot of it don't make sense, Lucy, but I promise... what I'm sayin' and what I'm not sayin' is best for you. It's best for everyone I know." That last bit held a particular weight.
