The Suit? Security was the problem? Lou decided she wasn't paranoid after all. Either Justice was, though she doubted it. At least, she didn't think the woman would be paranoid over nothing. Or she was missing something. Lucy was starting to think it had to be the latter. She just didn't know what that 'something' was.
It would have to wait for now. The image of the drunks as apple-turnovers amused her and helped her find a little more grounding. Right now, if anything did move in the shadows, Lou was going to jump out of her skin. She'd feel better when they reached where ever it was they were going, but the turnovers helped. She was good at apple turnovers.
Justice was quiet long enough for Lou to think she wasn't going to continue. When she did, it startled her so badly she nearly jumped then. Lou tried to cover it, but it was hard. "Mom doesn't think so." Lucy wasn't disagreeing with Justice, just giving the appropriate background.
