Today in the Dispatch there was a section dedicated to the best and the worse television bosses. Of course Michael Scott was mentioned. He was labled under both catagories of love 'em and leave 'em.
Love 'em: Michael Scott, The Office. He's bumbling, insecure and often inappropriate, but despite those flaws, pretty much everyone at Dunder Mifflin (expect for, maybe, Toby in Human Resources) knows that Michael (Steve Carell) loves his employees. Heck, he even sticks up for Dwight. And didn't he organize a charity "fun run" for Meredith after he hit her with his car? Now, tha's compassionate leadership.
Leave 'em: Michael Scott, The Office. Oh Michael, Michael, Michael - blowup dolls are so not cool in the workplace. Neither are, for starters, jokes about race, sex, age, or weight. Oh, and no more office hanky-panky with your ex-boss-turned-girlfriend, either. Seriously, ewwww. |
