Bored Vampires Who: Beau and Marie When: Week 8: Monday August 18th, Night Where: A park Summary: Beau was bored with out his kitty cat Warnings/Rating: Clean Status: Closed; Ongoing
Boredom for a vampire can mean catastrophic doom. It is true. Look through all the history, not all can be blamed on vampires, but if there was a vampire in the middle of it then it was only because he had become bored.
Beau did not know, sometimes, how some vampires lived as long as they did.
He had taken station earlier at The Others, watching video cameras and making sure there wasn’t anything hinky going on. You can only watch a television screen for so long.
Nothing was going on. It was a Monday night. All humans were tucked away in the beds, most clearing the streets before nightfall, others because they had families or jobs to attend to in the morning.
The night belonged to the vampires, the mischievous and other no-gooders. Anyway, that is what HASK and others would have you believe.
Wasn’t a vampires fault that they were doomed to never feel the sun against their skin; unless, of course, they received the help from a witch and got a spell that would let them out for only a brief time. Why couldn’t they be like the vamps on Vampire Diaries and be able to wear a ring that allowed them to be day walkers, too?
Life just couldn’t be perfect.
Not to mention that Liliana, his werekitty, had decided to go and party with the wolves tonight and his shop was closed on Monday nights. Sure, he might could crash whatever was going on over at the Barking Irish, but as a rule he never stepped foot in there unless they called for him too. The last time had been to glamour some humans into forgetting that someone had come in threatening to blow the joint up.
Fun times.
But, he knew that Liliana went for good reason. Her friend, and the Alpha of the pack, had been challenged and she wanted to check on him.
So, while the cat is out the mouse will play, or so the saying goes. Right now, he was sitting on a swing in the park.
