In fact I got my own writing comm on LJ. It's an open-ended roleplay kind of thing--anyone writing with each other in his or her own time and not scheduled.
Newish in role playing as some of the awesome Black Cat anime fandom! This IJ would be of Sven Vollfied, a sweeper (bounty hunter) with a premonition eye under his eye patch, and that briefcase that can do various things (emit sleeping gas, release nets, etc) I also have a Train IJ (and recently I realized that I've finally got his persona down well enough), and have yet to sign up. Planning to bring in some others from this same fandom too. I think I'll need as much chances to flesh them out with different characters for future story writing. XD
Hopefully I'll have a blast or at least an interesting time here.

And what are your thoughts on attempting a plottish-thing to kick some life into the place? No Nexus is properly christened without a few good explosions and moments of utter weirdness. |

So who's up for a little bit of LOL? Nothing too fancy at all, but for anyone who's ever had the desire to play their pup as a small child, I've been wanting an excuse to play "Monsters"-era Mohinder for a while, and I thought everyone who wanted to ought to be able to join in the fun.
Your pup might notice hopscotch courts drawn onto certain spots of the Nexus floor in pink and blue sidewalk chalk. If your pup happens to step onto a square of any of the courts, whichever number they happen to step on (ranging from 1-12) is the age they'll be reverted to for the next 24 to 48 hours.
Y'all can start any time you like, if you're interested--I know the IJ Nexus is newer and therefore moves a little slower than the LJ Nexus, so there's no expiration date on the LOL at the moment. I'll make the inaugural post...um...as soon as I'm done with my Italian Lit paper. (Or as soon as I start procrastinating on it again.) |

Y HELO THERE, Nexus.
Recently there have been some new arrivals. Most of them are varying shades of screwed up, what with escaping a post-apocalyptic demon-infested universe through a couple of rifts courtesy of Witchy McMaximoff here, and they're mostly looking to start their lives over somewhere where they hopefully won't be eaten by evil hospitals. Think of them as refugees, if you will. A few will also be over at the LJ nexus, but more are here.
I hope their muns will reply here so that we can identify them for harassment and also wub. :3
This particular character is a deeply AU version of Wanda Maximoff, who has only just started to gain any control whatsoever over her abilities. She's friendly, though! ...mostly! |

Hi there. Old mun, new digs. I've been playing over on LJ in dear_multiverse for a couple of years. Thought I'd poke my head in here.
This is one of my pups that I play over on the other board, although he isn't quite the same character. This is his first experience with the Nexus, and his past will be a bit different as well.

Ok, here's the deal; I would like Envy to do reconnaissance on the Elrics on camera and find out that "Ed + Riza + Alphons" is going on.
But, I don't want to put that into the plot without everybody's agreement.
Would it be all right with you guys?
If somebody has a problem with it, please tell me why. Perhaps we can work out something. If you really don't want it to happen, please tell me so. I won't do it.
EDIT
Since I forgot to mention at first to emilie_burns it would be off camera, it'll now be done On Camera. Just to avoid any redundant asking or future confusion or changes in plans, plus that seems to be a better idea now that I think about it. |

If you're not aware, there's a bug in IJ's code that causes comments to disappear at random, and not reappear. Support IS working to track it down. If it happens to you, on any journal, any entry, open a support request and give them the URL and approx number of comments that disappeared. The more data = the closer they are to finding it. And when they do, it won't happen anymore.
In the meantime, if you have any long or info-heavy comments in your gaming, you might wish to make copies for emergency backup in case they vanish on you. They can always be reposted, although I've noticed the disappearing comments happening repeatedly on one of my entries as opposed to any others. If comments start disappearing to a post, either try deleting and reposting the post, or move the comments elsewhere while reporting the URL and problem to Support.
It doesn't happen to every post or all the time, which is one reason why it hasn't been fixed yet. It's actually an infrequently-seen issue, and only with the increased traffic and increased users has the number of incidents increased in porportion. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter, and Support apologizes for any problems this causes. They're doing their best to hunt down the problem.

Unfortunately, it does not seem to be possible to recover the missing comments. This data seems to have disappeared compIetely. I sincerely apologize for this. If you saved the comment emails you received from the site, then you will at least have a record of which comments were posted.
