"I'll take crazy over boring any day," John muttered with another shrug. He continued to fidget with the lighter, occasionally running the width of a thumb over the flame, letting it lick at his skin before controlling the flame so it no longer hurt.
He tilted his head just right so the light caught his cheek and a strand of hair all but obscured his eye from view as his gaze found Bobby. "Would've thought seeing the shrink would have helped with that." He still hadn't been to see her and probably wouldn't unless forced, even then he probably wouldn't talk.
