"Hobbies are always good, but you have to be careful not to get too fixated on trying to do something that's so not part of the school that you get more isolated in your own mind." Adelaide paused, a frown flickering across her brow, "Did that makes sense?"
She tapped her fingers on her thigh before she lifted her gaze to Scott, "I think part of the problem is the mind-set you've come back with. You're thinking that you're not needed and so you're not. Self-fulfilling prophecies and all that."
Her eyebrows both raised when Scott asked her if she wanted to go for a ride. "Uh... I-" She shouldn't, really, she needed to stay here in case a student came to call. But it was tempting.
She had a feeling, though, that turning down his offer would do more harm than good so she nodded. "Alright, but an hour, that's the most I can be away for, okay?"
