Matty wriggled her fingers at him in goodbye. Once he had walked away from them, she nudged Gaia in the ribs. "C'mon, let's get some booze." She tugged Gaia in the direction of the garage.
Twenty minutes later, and they were stepping into a smoke-filled hole in the wall. It wasn't as horrible as some of the bars Matty liked to frequent, but it was by no measure a classy dive. The bartender nodded at them as they entered, something of a grin on his face. Matty was something of a regular here, but usually she had Logan towering behind her.
Not tonight, though.
Matty glanced at Gaia as they both stepped up to the bar. "Get me a shot of tequila," she said.
