Re: Tag: Logan's team
Logan had to grit his teeth and accept that Matty really was okay. He trusted her enough to know and hoped she wasn't just being stupid and stubborn, and she had a healing factor that was already beginning to work. "We've got another floor two floors to get through," he said as they reached the top of the stairs. Some unlucky bastard chose that moment to come through the door and Logan didn't hesitate in slitting his throat, thankfully before he could alert anyone.
"Stay here," he ordered. He could smell gun oil and metal and he knew Matty couldn't take any more damage. He looked at the girl. "You guard her, little one." He didn't stop to see if she acknowledged him, he knew they had an understanding.
By the time he came back he was covered in more blood, barely visible against the black leather of his uniform which by now was gaping in places, and he could feel bullets working their way out of his body to fall onto the floor. He grimaced as one at his temple took its sweet time. "Same as before, we move, I'll lead."
