The act of getting some rest seemed an awfully daunting task for many tonight, and that went doubly so for someone who had spent a better part of a year and a half in a comatose state. Or at least, Betsy's body had been in a coma, while her mind had been forced to merge with a Japanese assassin.
Sometimes, she feared the simplest of bodily functions, such as closing one's eyes; fearing that her mind would abandon her again. Flee to another unwilling host and return her body to a vegetated state again. She knew she was being illogical--silly even--because it would take another heavyweight psychic battle for that to occur.
As much people did, Elisabeth let her irrational logic get the best of her and decided to abandon her feeble attempts to fall asleep.
It didn't take Betsy long to feel restless enough to vacate her room and move down to the lower levels in search for a distraction. Mercifully, she spotted some lights shining out of the rec room and that's where she headed. It was somewhat comforting to know that someone else was having difficulty sleeping.
When she finally poked her blonde head into the recreational room's doorway, she spotted Rogue. Betsy had had seen her around, but had yet to really introduce herself proper to her.
"Could you use some company?" Psylocke asked, her full, pajama-clad body now lingering in the doorway. She had been frightfully pale when she had showed up a few days ago, but the color was slowly returning to her face.
