Doling out Punishments (5 a.m. Wednesday morning, for Bobby and John)

The kids had been waiting long enough, he'd been waiting long enough. Now that things were settled between him and Ororo and Scott, the equilibrium was balanced again and he wasn't ready to kill someone with little-to-no provocation, it was time to get things started.

The halls of the Institute were deathly quiet this early in the morning, everything dark and shadowed in the pre-dawn light just beginning to peek in through the windows. Logan had left Matty curled up in his bed (well, their bed now), grabbed a shower and a quick bite to eat in the kitchen on his way to issue an early-morning wakeup of epic proportions.

The door to the bedroom shared by John and Bobby flew open hard enough that it bounced back off the wall and was caught by Logan's hand before it could peg him in the face. "Rise and shine, ladies," he announced in a voice that was entirely too gleeful for the time of day.

4 in the afternoon, Institute steps, Open

Jamie was dog tired. No pun intended, since he was in his puppy form. He'd been running and walking and generally on the move for over a week now. He'd gotten a bus ticket to get him to New York, but after that he'd hoofed it.

Maybe not the smartest thing for a ten year old to do, but dogs ran around on the streets all the time. ...The backpack in his teeth may have made him a little conspicuous, though.

But! He was finally here. At least, he thought it was here. He looked through the bars on the gate for a moment, trying to get a scent of his sister, but his nose was as tired as the rest of him. But the address matched the one she'd sent dad, so, it had to be the place.

With a sneeze and a sigh, the brown lab puppy nosed his way through the gate bars and started walking up the drive. At the very least, maybe he could crash here for the night. The grounds looked big enough.

Boy, he was tired. What day was it anyway? Should he change back before he went up there? Might be a good idea. Especially if this was really the place.

Jamie detoured into a set of bushes and with a small whimper changed from a medium sized puppy into a relatively scrawny ten year old boy. He opened his pack and pulled out the jeans and t-shirt that were in there and yanked them on.

Ok. Human looking again. And walking on two legs was just strange. But he managed not to totally fall over as he walked back to the driveway. A few steps later he was mounting the steps and ringing the doorbell. Jamie adjusted the strap on his bag as he yawned.

Welcome to your new life; coming to the school; night; OPEN to many

Terry sang softly to herself in gaelic as she pushed the stroller along the path up to the school. "Don't worry, baby," she said softly to her daughter as they walked. "We'll be okay here. They'll keep us safe." That was probably directed to both of them. Logically, she knew that they were most likely holding up Charle's ideals but she wasn't exactly an easy girl to have around.

She took a deep breath and pushed a rebellious curl out of her face. "Your granddady used to work here. Banshee they called him. Sean Cassidy. He was so proud of that." Her father had gone through a lot and done a lot of things that he wasn't proud of but being an X-Men? That was always a bright spot.

Knocking on the heavy wooden door, she stepped back her hand slipping into the pocket of her coat. "Here goes nothing."
