"Ah don't expect to get off. Ah expect to have to pay my due in full when Ah get back..." She said in the good girl that she tended to be. Rogue didn't meantion the fact that she had only bought a one-way ticket unsure of when coming back would actually happen. "Though...if you don't mind me askin'...what sort of punishment are you thinkin' of anyway?" she was curious as to what a thing like that would get. Something told her dention wasn't going to be enough like Bobby had mentioned earlier.
Rogue shrugged at the mention of John. "Maybe...but he was the one to first fight off the creeps. He headbutted one and punched another..." she shook her head. She didn't like that he had headbut the first guy. Though she never underdstood why anyone--probably besides Logan--would want to do something like that. It only seemed to cause more damage to the person executing it. "Ah promise Ah'll be more careful..." she said looking away from him. Though her attention was pulled back to him with the things he said.
She wasn't completely sure what to say. She could tell that he meant every word he said. Rogue looked up to Logan more than just a father figure. He was the one to save her life and promise to protect her. She didn't realize how causing problems like she had was also inadvertently affecting the promise. She was grateful to have him. For a moment she almost thought about not going to Mississippi. Wasn't Logan as a father figure enough? True he wasn't blood but he was better than that. No she still needed to confront it or it would never go away. "Thank you." she blurted out. Though out of context from her thoughs it probably sounded really weird. When she realized this she tried to think of a way to tie it in with what he said but nothing came up fast enough.
