Who: Rogue and Logan What: Logan giving Rogue a lift to the airport When: Night Rating: TBD I guess Status: active
Rogue finished packing her pathetic attempt of a suitcase with only enough items for a few days. After shoving much of the items in the best she could she stepped back and observed her suitcase as one would typically observe a painting. She debated about packing more for longer period of time but she didn't want to acknowledge the fact that the trip could result of anything more. Instead she just put on her coat, grabbed her suitcase and bag that held the print out reciept of her ticket, said her goodbyes to her best friend and roommate, and walked to the garage.
She wasn't completely sure why she was doing this, she just realized recently that it was probably the only way she was ever going to feel as if she had some sort of closure. When Rogue left home it had been so sudden and abrupt. Somehow she ended up in Canada where she met Rogue and from there I guess someone could say 'the rest is history'. At the time Rogue felt it was in her family's best interest though she always had a nagging feeling that she had just been running away from things. True that tended to be her style, run away and never look back, but this one wasn't letting go. It threatened to remain attached to her for a long time if she refused to acknowledge it's existence. Rogue wasn't so sure what exactly she planned to do once she got to Mississippi, but she was sure she'd figure something out.
Appraching the the garage Rogue started to get a little nervous. She hadn't spoken to Logan at all since before he had left. Well nothing more than what was said over the journal entries she wrote. She wasn't sure as to how he was going to act in regards to the skipping class and causing problems in a bar with John and Bobby. The excuse that keeps coming to her head is 'he did say she needed to get out more' though as funny as it seemed to her she wasn't going to say it to him. She had never done anything that would require him to get mad at her. Her leaving wasn't to try to escape the punishment she was sure she deserved. It was just another reminder and push to go back.
With a deep breath Rogue pushed the door that lead to the garage open and walked over to Logan. "Hey." she said as she set her suitcase by the car.
