This will give people a chance to thread out a bit during the party in costume as themselves, then everyone will turn into what they dressed as tomorrow night at midnight. Hugo had went to the kitchen to ask for a chocolate cake. The cake he got was perfect. Just small enough for two people to share. Balancing it carefully, he made his way to Scorpius' room and knocked on the door.

"Hey. Birthday Boy. Open up."

Hugo tossed his journal down on his bed and moved off of his bed, his jeans rumpled and his button down shirt wrinkled from spending the last few hours laying in bed. He didn't want to wait for Scorpius to knock. Hugo had wanted to see Scorpius the other night and by now he really wanted to see him. Walking out into the hall, Hugo headed for Scorpius' door.

As badly as he wanted to see Scorpius, Hugo didn't want to see too eager. So in front of the door between their rooms, he hesitated and told himself to go back to his own room and wait.
